Portraits

Painted during a life drawing session in my studio.  She is actually holding a timer to time her session.  I love the message this painting conveys. 

This drawing was completed while in my studio from a live model.  A group of artist met weekly, hired models and spent many hours developing our skills with life drawing. 

This painting was completed after a long intense drawing session working with a live model.  After spending many hours drawing image after image this particular pose got my attention.  It was done very quickly as I painted my impression of a forgotten man.
